Attention Parents:
Student & Staff photos will be taken at Cubero Elementary on Oct/04/2024.
All students will be photographed and you will receive a proof to see your student's photo before you buy the bigger portraits.
We are offering some discounted Picture Day Specials that must be turned into the photographer on picture day.
Additional items/packages will be available for purchase online as usual. You will receive a proof about 1 week after picture day for those.
NEW: Take a sibling group for $5 and receive a proof to order online. Photographers will be setup 20 minutes before school starts so bring your students in for a sibling group before school.
Reminder: There will be no school on Thursday, September 19th, in observance of the Cultural Day.
Reminder Parents and Guardians: Tonight is the first PTO meeting at Cubero Elementary. Meeting will start at 5:30 pm. Discussions will be about volunteers, upcoming events and fundraising.

Cubero News: We are proud to announce that Landen Smith was a Gloomie for the 100th Burning of Zozobra. They allowed 100 children to audition to be a Gloomie. Requirements were that each participant had to attend practice every Saturday at Fort Marcy Park, the Wednesday before the burning they had to attend a dress rehearsal and practice in the dark. Landen's love and passion for Zozobra is tremendous! He jumped at the opportunity to be apart of Zozobra, as well as submitting a drawing to hang at Zozo Fest. Landen has already begun his new entry for next year's Zozobra.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28th, is an Early Release Day for Grants Cibola County Schools students and a Professional Development Day for staff. Grades PreK to 6 students will be released at 12:45 PM and grades 7 to12 students will be released at 1:00 PM.
Reminder: Tomorrow is the first Early Release Day of the school year. Students will release at 12:45 p.m. The flyer below has the schedule for the school year.
